Questions for Camp Activities

Hello!

Before we went on our Murchison camp, we had to come up with some questions about our camp; Are the flames permanent? At camp I figured out some of these questions, the flames are permanent, and my favorite things to do on camp was going on the White water rafting. Here is my questions about Camp.

End of the Year Speeches

Hi Everyone!

Since it's nearly the end of the year, our whole class had to make end of the year speeches. We had to include all our main things we loved and what we did the whole time we've been at school. Even if you went to a different school you could add things about that school as well. I would love for you to comment and give me some advice on how I could improve my speech.

Hello everyone, I am Leah, I’m a year 7 at the age of 12. I am going to tell you how my school life started. First of all I want to say a big thanks to my parents for being here for me  I really love playing all sports, especially NETBALL! I also love swimming! I have the most best friend ever called Ell, but I have a lot more.

When I first came to this amazing school, I was so nervous, but when I got there everyone was so nice to me. I had made so many friends on my first day, and made many more through the years. I really liked my teachers they all helped me through my learning and they were all really kinda. They made me work hard and helped me reach my goals and some are still to succeed. I remember when Mrs C was ready to finish school but was coming going off school because she was pregnant, we have a little party for her. I remember she had to change a fake baby's nappy and it had a Moro bar pretending to be something else, it was funny. I remember all the funny things that happened in the classes. Hopefully in the future I see all my teachers again.

 I remember the treasure box in Room 1 and 2 and Little Red the teddy bear. I remember I took Little red home and I had the best time ever.   I had many friends that left to different schools sadly, but gained many more. 

I really loved the trips we went on a Point Elizabeth Walk where we had to find all these chocolates and dance around corners, it was fun. I remember Santa came and joined us, and also gave us Fish n chips, I remember going to the Kiwi house in Hokitika and we also went to the Kiwi Creche down Atarua and we got to feel the kiwi. In Room 5, we went to two camps we went to Waitua and Hanmer Springs they were really fun.   Also I loved the camps in Room 6 especially, we went to Boyle river and Murchison, I loved those camps the best.

When I grow up I want to be a Silver Fern player or if I don’t be one of them I will get a high paying job. But I would really love to be a Silver Fern player like Maria Tutaia and Laura Langman who is now going to the Aussie Team.

Thanks to all my friends, family and teachers for being there all times and helping  me through tough times.

School bells are ringing loud and clear, vacation’s over, school is here.

Advertisement about Murchison White water rafting

On the 5th of November to the 8th we went on camp. We went to Murchison!! It was really fun, we went on a lot of different activities like Jet Boating, Rafting, Comet line and other cool things. We had to make a advertisement on our favorite activity. Mine was the Ultimate Descents white water rafting.

Pet Day Fake Text message

Hi Bloggers!!!

This year we will be holding a Pet Day, which will be very fun. Our teachers have thought of a interesting idea, a fake text message with your animal if they had a phone. I have based mine on my dog. So I have made mine about me asking my dog if she wanted to come to Pet Day. It was really easy to use this app, but sometimes I got stuck with a little bit of it. Maybe next time I thought I could do something different like a different subject about the actual event ... Pet Day.

Netball BlogX Teams

Hi Bloggers,

Today I have a post about Netball, as you all should know about the BlogX Teams. I have chosen netball and a couple other ones I enjoy. 

Last week in Netball my team Grey Valley Vs CSC, which we sadly lost we had 3 and they had 28, only because they are High School team and they are really tall and we are Year 6-8. This week we will verse Cobden B, which we hope they are not as tall as the other team. Hopefully we will win this week!

Multiplication

Hi Everyone, I have a post  today about MATHS, Yay! A couple of days ago me, Anahera and Solly had a math's task to do and we did a DLO about it.  We got given some questions and we answered all of them and made a slideshow We all enjoyed making this and it was really fun. We hope you like it!
 

Train Safety Learning!!!

Hello, today I have an interesting post today about safety around trains. So last week at school we had Wheels week and we had to bring our bikes or scooters to school. We had to make videos about train safety, in a group, my group is , Sophie, Tahlia and Ella. We had so much fun planing and making this video. We hope you like it!! The Reading Challenge

How I found this book: I found this amazing book in our School Library on one of the shelfs. I was looking for a horse book. This particular book catched my eye so I started to read it, I liked the cover a lot, because it had a picture of the horse drawn and on the bottom was Madeline and her horse practicing.

What made me interested about the book: Well... I really injoyed this book and when I first got it I had a look on the back of the book and I said" This book sounds really good and is one that is a horse book, which I was looking for".

The Recruit Book Advert

Timeline

At school our teacher brought a box of things that were from some of the soldiers things that they took to the war, which were replicas. We chose a thing from the box and we made a timeline about the artifact from one of the soldiers. Here is my timeline!!!

Chapter Chat: The Recruit: Reading Activities

In class the book our teachers are reading has some tasks we could choose from and I made Bruce's Business Card.  Bruce is a character in the book and he got into a fight and wanted to make a Business Card that said this (Bruce Norris Kicked Your A$$).  This was for when he knocked them out, he said he would stick it in their mouths so when they became conscious again they would know it was him that did it.  I have recreated Bruce's Business Card. ( This is Fake)

Anzac Day Poster

In class we made some posters on thinglink, which is an app that you make posters, we made posters on what Anzac Day is. We shared these with our lovely Room 2 students. Click the little icons on the screen!!!

BIO-POEM

In class we made a Bio Poem about ourselves. We started with a plan and put all the information we needed about ourselves.  Next we put all the information from our plan onto a google slideshow.
