Ice Cream Making Science

At school we have science rotations, today we went to Room 5. As you can tell from the title we have been making ICE-CREAM, YUMMM!! We all took turns at making the ice cream. We all had heaps of fun, now we are waiting for the Ice Cream to freeze so we can eat it.

                                    How To Make Unicorn Ice Cream!

Utensils:

Bowl/s

Spoons

Mixer

Ingredients:

Cream

Sweet-end Condense Milk

Vanilla Essence

Food Dye

Marshmallows(Optional)

Firstly have all your ingredients and utensils set out ready to use.

Grab you cream and pour the cream into a bowl and then start mixing it till it, after a while add two cap fulls of vanilla essense and then mix until it looks like whipped cream

After finishing mixing add Sweet-end Condensed Milk into the mixture and fold it making sure you don't let to much air out.

This is optional, you can add marshmallows to the mixture.

After that separate the mixture into different containers and add a variety of colours like pink, purple or blue and stir that up.

Put blobs of the colours in a bigger container to look like a unicorn.

After that put the containers lid on top of the container and put it into the freezer and wait 

Wearable Arts

 A couple of week ago we had a Wearable Arts Competition. All the kids from Awahono School attended this competition, which was really cool seeing all the costumes they had made. We had groups, the groups had 2-4 people in them. Our group was Me, Sophie, Tahlia and Amber, we all worked well, it was a bit stressful at the end though. Everyone looked like they were having fun, which is the main thing. Here is a photo of the making of our Costume. 

Student VS Staff Netball Game

 On the 13th of August, we had a students vs staff netball game to get our ASB Netball team ready for a tournament that we are attending on the 24th of August. Due to Covid-19 we might not be able to do the tournament. We had lots of fun with the staff, getting pushed around and even some people falling over, which was not good. Hopefully we will be able to have another game against the staff, before we go to the tournament. Our team had Me, Sophie, Tahlia, Haylee Alex, Zoe, Anusshika, Deaykn and Solly, we all played exceptionally well. We won 12-10.
