A couple of week ago we had a Wearable Arts Competition. All the kids from Awahono School attended this competition, which was really cool seeing all the costumes they had made. We had groups, the groups had 2-4 people in them. Our group was Me, Sophie, Tahlia and Amber, we all worked well, it was a bit stressful at the end though. Everyone looked like they were having fun, which is the main thing. Here is a photo of the making of our Costume.
Hi Leah, the Wearable Arts Show sounds fantastic! How long did the dress take to make? Did you get any prizes? I like how you used a black velvet material for the base. Was there any other things you added to it? Did people have characters they tried to imitate?
