Train Safety Learning!!!

Hello, today I have an interesting post today about safety around trains. So last week at school we had Wheels week and we had to bring our bikes or scooters to school. We had to make videos about train safety, in a group, my group is , Sophie, Tahlia and Ella. We had so much fun planing and making this video. We hope you like it!! How I found this book: I found this amazing book in our School Library on one of the shelfs. I was looking for a horse book. This particular book catched my eye so I started to read it, I liked the cover a lot, because it had a picture of the horse drawn and on the bottom was Madeline and her horse practicing.

What made me interested about the book: Well... I really injoyed this book and when I first got it I had a look on the back of the book and I said" This book sounds really good and is one that is a horse book, which I was looking for".

The Recruit Book Advert

Today I had an advert about the book called (The Recruit) that our teacher is reading. We had to add things that are appealing about the book and add some words that would make people want to buy it.

Timeline

At school our teacher brought a box of things that were from some of the soldiers things that they took to the war, which were replicas. We chose a thing from the box and we made a timeline about the artifact from one of the soldiers. Here is my timeline!!!

Chapter Chat: The Recruit: Reading Activities

In class the book our teachers are reading has some tasks we could choose from and I made Bruce's Business Card.  Bruce is a character in the book and he got into a fight and wanted to make a Business Card that said this (Bruce Norris Kicked Your A$$).  This was for when he knocked them out, he said he would stick it in their mouths so when they became conscious again they would know it was him that did it.  I have recreated Bruce's Business Card. ( This is Fake)

Anzac Day Poster

In class we made some posters on thinglink, which is an app that you make posters, we made posters on what Anzac Day is. We shared these with our lovely Room 2 students. Click the little icons on the screen!!!

BIO-POEM

In class we made a Bio Poem about ourselves. We started with a plan and put all the information we needed about ourselves.  Next we put all the information from our plan onto a google slideshow.
